    International Students Either of the following:
    * Pass in Foundation in Engineering; or
    * Pass in A-Levels or its equivalent with three (3) Principals inclusive of Mathematics & Physics; or
    * Pass in a related 2 years Diploma from a recognised institution or its equivalent.
    * Fulfil MMU English Requirement.

    * TOEFL: 520 Paper-based; 190 Computer-based; 68 Internet-based; or
    * IELTS: 5.5; or
    * Cambridge O-Levels English: Min. Grade C
    Note: Students who do not meet the above requirements are to sit for an English Language Placement Test. Students who fail the placement test shall be required to attend the MMU Intensive English Language programme.

    The Multimedia University (MMU) Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Electronics majoring in Nanotechnology programme is offered under the Faculty of Engineering. Designed for students planning for professional careers in the fields of microelectronics and nanoelectronics; the nanotechnology programme provides a complete undergraduate training in electronics and nanoelectronics-related fields; such as nanomaterials; nanosciences; nanofabrication technology; nanoelectronic devices; MEMS/NEMS; diagnostic technology; computer organisation and architecture; data communication; microprocessor system; and multimedia technology.
    In addition; the students are also exposed to basic engineering training in circuit and signal analysis; field theory; electronics; control theory; digital logics; machine; communications and engineering mathematics. To better prepare the students for the engineering professional career; courses in basic management; economics; accounting and law are also included.
    This programme also provides students with industrial experience and research training; by requiring students to complete industrial training and graduation projects.
    Programme Objectives:
    * To train and nurture competent technical and engineering leaders in support of the nanoscale activities in the electronics industry
    * To produce versatile engineers with the ability to consistently synthesise new technologies in the nanoelectronics sector
    All engineering degrees awarded by the MMU Faculty of Engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Council of Malaysia and the Board of Engineers; Malaysia. Furthermore; Malaysia is a signatory of the Washington Accord. Hence; MMU engineering graduates are recognised and able to work at the signatory countries such as Australia; Canada; Hong Kong; Ireland; Japan; New Zealand; Singapore; South Africa; South Korea; Taiwan; UK and USA.
